Reliable for KingGee gear

This isn't my first order from Workwear Group, and like always, they delivered. I needed new KingGee cargo work pants, and they had them in stock. The shipping was about the same as my last few orders, around 5 business days. Their sizing guides for KingGee always work out for me, which is why I keep coming back. Never had an issue with quality either, the pants feel just as good as previous pairs.

Decent hi-vis, delivery was slow

I ordered a few hi-vis vests and a couple of lightweight work shirts for the team. The ordering process on the website was straightforward enough, and I found everything I needed. The quality of the vests and shirts seems good, they feel durable and the sizing was accurate based on their guide. However, delivery took nearly two weeks, which felt a bit long, even considering it was a larger order. I had to follow up with customer support once, and they were helpful, but it would have been better if the shipping was faster from the start. Everything arrived eventually and was correct, so no major complaints on the products themselves.

Good work pants, fast shipping

I grabbed some industrial work trousers last week, and they got here pretty quick. I think it was like 4 days to get to me. They fit well and seem tough enough for what I need. Happy with them overall.

Anyone bought the 'Workwear Group' brand stuff or is it better to stick with Hard Yakka or KingGee? Trying to decide for some new cargo pants.

A Alex 2 months ago
Workwear Group is like the parent company for those brands, so you're probably looking at one of their house brands. Quality is usually good, on par with their main brands.

I've found the in-house stuff to be solid. Not quite as 'iconic' as Hard Yakka maybe, but for daily wear it's totally fine. You're still getting good workwear.

What's their return policy like? Bought some safety boots that ended up being a bit too big for me.

M Mia F. 1 month ago
Returns were easy for me. Just followed the instructions on their site, printed a label, and sent it back. Got my refund pretty quick.

They're usually pretty good about returns as long as it's unworn and still got the tags. Just initiate it online and you should be fine.

Hey, does Workwear Group ever do a first order discount? Like if I sign up for their newsletter?

L Lisa Lindqvist 2 months ago
Yeah, they usually do a small one, like 10% off for signing up for emails. Check their site or the pop-up when you first visit.

I got a first order discount code in my email after signing up for the newsletter. It was a pretty standard percentage off thing.

How do their trade account discounts compare to just waiting for a sale? Need a bunch of stuff for the team.

B Brett Kim 2 months ago
If you need a lot of gear, the trade account is definitely better than waiting for sales. It's consistent pricing and you don't have to scramble during peak times.

Trade accounts get better pricing long term, especially if you're buying in bulk regularly. Sales are good for one-offs, but not for ongoing supply.

How long does it usually take for stuff to arrive in Perth? Need some new hi-vis for a job starting next week.

N Neil 2 months ago
From memory, it was about a week for my last order to WA. Might be quicker if you pay for express shipping.

P Paula 2 months ago
My last order to Perth took about 5 business days, maybe 6. If you're really in a hurry, you might want to call them and ask if they can prioritize.

Thinking of grabbing some KingGee work shorts, but not sure on the sizing. Are their charts accurate or do they run small/large?

C Carly Kim 2 months ago
Yeah, their sizing guides are pretty good. I've bought Hard Yakka and KingGee stuff using them and it was always spot on.

I'd say they're generally true to size. If you're on the fence, maybe size up for shorts just to be safe, but my experience has been positive.
